Welcome to June
Welcome to June! Let’s get the grills ready and the beach towels out!
After a long winter, we’ve certainly earned a beautiful summer break. With warmer weather finally here, I’m looking forward to the many exciting events and adventures taking place throughout the season.
Looking Ahead to a Busy Summer
We’re excited to welcome the world to Foxboro with the upcoming World Cup. This will be an incredible event for our region and should provide a much-needed boost to our hospitality industry.
Another exciting event on the horizon is the upcoming ACF Convention in Michigan. I look forward to seeing many of you there.
As we reach the halfway point of the year, I encourage everyone to visit the ACF National website and review the upcoming awards opportunities. If there’s something you’re interested in pursuing, please reach out. Our club exists to support one another, and we’re always happy to help members achieve their personal and professional goals.
Supporting the Future of Hospitality
This month, the Massachusetts Restaurant Association hosts its annual dinner, where we are proud to award seven scholarships to deserving students pursuing careers in hospitality.
Our club continues to lead by investing in student education, professional development, and the future of our industry.
Thank you to everyone who supports our fundraising efforts throughout the year—especially those who contribute to the Jimmy DiMarzio Scholarship Golf Outing, which helps make these scholarships possible.
A Fantastic May Meeting
Our May meeting was truly exceptional.
Members enjoyed authentic Greek cuisine presented by Full Circle Diner in Peabody, Massachusetts and hosted by Chef Despina Makredes, CCE, AAC.
The presentation, food display, and incredible flavors were absolutely award-worthy.
Thank you, Chef Despina, for sharing your unmatched talent and hospitality with all of us.

Dinner begins around 2:00 PM and tickets are $50 each.
Guests can also participate in raffles, prizes, and festivities while supporting a great cause.

100% of proceeds directly support the 2027 MRA Scholarship Fund.
