Boston Halloween decorations, ECB October 2025 President's Message

President’s Message — October 1, 2025

Tim Foley, HAAC

President, ACF Epicurean Club of Boston

Dear Members,

I hope everyone enjoyed the first month of fall. As a club, we’re off to an exciting start to the season.

Our September meeting was outstanding. Thank you to Tri-State Marketing for an exceptional presentation. The roasted sirloin dinner and demos were delicious.

Yesterday, we participated in our Cops for Kids with Cancer Golf Charity event at Sandy Burr Country Club in Wayland, MA. It was a perfect day to be on the course. Thank you to Chef John Disessa, Chef Jimmy Dimarzio, Chef John Lawrence, Steve Lawrence, Rory Gallagher, Chef Todd Snopkowski, and Chef Paul from Snapchef. This event would not be such a success without your outstanding culinary talents.

The Epicurean Club of Boston—the oldest chefs’ club in America—prides itself on supporting our profession and our community. It’s important for us to lead the way and be there for people in need. Over the next couple of months, there will be many opportunities to volunteer. We’re always looking for help in a variety of roles, so please don’t hesitate to get involved. Thank you.
